In order to actively expand the channels of foreign exchange and cooperation, make full use of global quality educational resources, promote the internationalization of student training, enhance students’ global competence, and promote further teaching and research cooperation between Jilin University and world-class institutions, with the great support of the Office of Global Engagement,our school launched the “Global Competence Enhancement Program for JLUSPS Students” online course from August 15 to September 10, 2022.

Professor Sophia Koutsogiannaki of Harvard University was invited as the lecturer of this online course. A total of 19 undergraduate and graduate students attended the courses,and submitted project research reports and displayed project results.

The Summer Course “Global Competence Enhancement Program for JLUSPS Students” has been successfully concluded. Students said that all-English course study not only broadened the international horizon,  but also improved their ability to use English for academic communication. This course also provided a platform for our young teachers to communicate with foreign academic masters, laying a sound foundation for further international cooperation.
